I’d been struggling with a fault in my car that Jacksons couldn’t fix. After repeated visits and disappointment, I turned to Ruellans Garage. The difference was night and day.
From the start, Ruellans impressed me with their professionalism and transparency. They took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue (something Jacksons never seemed to do properly). They explained in clear, non-technical terms what was wrong, what needed doing, and why. They also gave me a quote up front and stuck to it.
What really stood out was their attention to detail and persistence. The problem Jacksons “couldn’t fix” turned out to be a software resset and update that required specialist tools and experience. Ruellans had the right diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge—they dug deeper, tested more components, and didn't just stop when the obvious checks came back clear.

I took my Mercedes E Class to Ruellans to have some work done that was recommended at the service. They provided quotes for this work very quickly beforehand and were incredibly easy to book in with. Certainly better customer service than Jacksons and felt much more trustworthy - someone was always ready to pick up the phone and answer any questions I had. They weren’t able to carry out all the work they said they would unfortunately as they were worried about breaking some parts when removing them - but they were very honest about this and explained they would need the car back and to order these extra parts - to not being able to take the car on our holiday. Overall good experience and would recommend to others.

Having had a bad experience with the garage where we had bought our car where it had been regularly serviced, I decided it was time to seek somewhere that could provide a service at a fair price and better customer service, Ruellans was recommended by a few friends so I rang up and they gave the car a full look round and provided me with quotes quickly, I booked it in for the next month and I couldn’t be happier, from the first time to the second time great customer service at a fair price. We will be back for its next service.
I have been taking my mini to Ruellan’s for a long time now and have always been more than happy with what ever job has been done. Ruellan’s are reliable and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

I recently booked in my car, my pride and joy, at Ruellans for her annual check up and service. A bonus is that they open early enough that I could drop off my car before work. On the same day they advised that my car was ready. I collected it that day after work, as they close at 6pm. The friendly and helpful front desk guys, Tim and Nick, explained what had been checked, findings and what had been done. My car was returned to me cleaned with interior vacuumed. The bill was reasonable and I remain a very satisfied customer!
I have had a relationship of over 20 years with Ruellans. They are excellent at every step of looking after motor vehicles. These tend to be German cars. Their communication is excellent, attention to detail throughout ensures a seamless process. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are the benchmark against whom all others are measured. For German car servicing, look nowhere else
